  • Overview

    A Wiss client located in Essex County, NJ is seeking an Executive Assistant/Office Manager to join their growing team.  Previous real estate experience is highly preferred along with strong technical skills (Excel, utilizing DropBox, etc).


    Position Overview

    The day to day job will involve office work, bookkeeping, and servicing of the company’s portfolio of Venture Capital and GP investments.


    Core Responsibilities

    •  General office work including scanning, printing, answering calls and filing
    • Scheduling meetings on behalf of two executives
    • Bookkeeping, invoicing and bill pay
    • Professional bookkeeping, via a basic use of QuickBooks accounting software, data entry
    •      and account reconciliation in coordination with outsourced CFO
    • Input monthly distribution payments from investments
    • Transition physical records/ paperwork to digital (process has already started in office)
    • Maintain company files and calendar
    • Ensure operation of equipment and support services by troubleshooting problems
    • Assist with tax and year‐end projects as needed



    • 3+ years of administrative/book keeping experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
    • Real estate experience a plus
    • Real Estate management software (Skyline, Yardi Systems) and business accounting

    Target Salary Range - $55-$60K
