    A Wiss client in the media industry is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join their team in New York City. 

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Record cash receipts and make bank deposit
    • Prepare customer statements
    • Communicate overdue balances to senior management
    • Resolve billing discrepancies promptly
    • Coordinate new month billing with Account Managers
    • Verify AR balances with sister companies quarterly
    • Monthly customer invoicing
    • Customer follow up on cash collections
    • Assist Senior Accountant with monthly close and audit process
    • Prepare new campaign billing sheet
    • Other projects, as needed

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • B.S. in Accounting with at least 1-2 years’ experience
    • Experience in Advertising, Media or Tech industry desired
    • Advanced level of MS Excel
    • Able to work with large complex data spreadsheets
    • Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP system required
    • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
