    A Wiss client in Monmouth County New Jersey is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team.  The ideal candidate must be hands on and preferably out of a product-based environment (food and beverage is ideal). 

     

    Job Summary:

    Perform all customer service duties and specific assigned accounting duties. The position will be responsible for all

    aspects of the customer service function. Receive orders, input orders, coordinate shipping activities, respond to all

    customer inquiries, process all internal paperwork, bill all shipments, and generate all internal reports. The position will

    also be responsible for all control state inventories and communicating with these state agencies. In addition to the

    customer service duties this position will be assigned specific accounting tasks such as journals, reconciliations, ERP

    system maintenance, and assist with A/P duties and other accounting functions.

    Essential Functions:

    • Track and control the receipt and input into the system of all customer orders.
    • Coordinate all shipping and trucker activities.
    • Process BOL’s for all shipments.
    • Generate warehouse pick sheets to meet scheduled shipping dates.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems and processes.
    • Maintain integrity of specific areas of the ERP system.
    • Process receipt of raw material inventories and adjustments to inventories.
    • Generate internal shipping, billing and inventory reports.
    • Reconcile and control all state agency inventories.
    • Process specific accounting journals as assigned.
    • Responsible for specific inventory reconciliations.
    • Provide back-up support to A/P and other accounting functions.
    • Filing of Purchase Orders, Pick Tickets, Bill of Ladings and State Reports.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Work in a safe and courteous manner while abiding by the Company’s safety policies and procedures.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Must have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

    Must have excellent computer skills including working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and experience with

    ERP systems.

    Excellent knowledge of customer service responsibilities

    Knowledge of accounting processes

    Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills.

    Must be able to perform well under pressure and demonstrate flexibility in modifying workload to support business

         needs.

    Must have excellent organization skills

    Minimum Requirements of Training and Experience:

    Two years of post-secondary education with 2+ years of related training, experience and/or equivalent combination of

         education and experience.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service and/or accounting positions.

    Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

    Position requires desk/computer work as well as limited work on the floor in a manufacturing environment.
