    Winter 2019 CFO Advisory Intern


    Wiss & Company is seeking an enthusiastic part time intern to assist in our fast growing CFO Advisory Services department. As member of this team, you will have the ability to test your skills and knowledge in helping to stream-line our clients’ accounting departments.

    A day in the LIFE entails the following:

    • Support the team on accounting system conversion projects.
    • Assist with month-end close including year-end accruals as well as bank, credit card, payroll, and various Balance Sheet reconciliations.
    • Aid in the preparation of 1099s. 
    • Research third party solutions for client pain points, tedious tasks and or manual work that is performed outside of the accounting system. Work with Business Advisory team members to develop pertinent Key Performance Indicators for businesses, set targets, monitor progress.

    HUGE pluses on your resume would be:

    • A candidate that is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting AND MIS.
    • An individual with interest to pursue their CPA.
    • Willingness to learn and advance your proficiency in a variety of Accounting Systems.
