    Spring 2019 Audit internship:

     

    Wiss and Company is seeking a detail-oriented individual who is interested in pursuing a career in public accounting. We are looking for highly motivated, team players who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to exhibiting effective problem solving, analytical and organizational skills. This posting is for open positions in our Livingston Office for a Spring Audit Internship.

    What you will do:

    • Develop a working knowledge of various client businesses within a number of industries such as the Food Industry, Real Estate, Manufacturing and much, much more!
    • Proactively interact with fellow staff and external client personnel with confidence in order to help them gather information and resolve problems.
    • As opportunities arise you will be able to gain exposure through our rotational program into other departments such as Taxation, Outsourced Accounting, Advisory services and Litigation support.

    What we are looking for:

    • Must be a Junior majoring in Accounting or Taxation
    • Must be able to work 3 days a week during Spring Semester 
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA required
    • Candidates must have a general understanding of Excel and Word
    • Candidates must be detail oriented and interested in pursuing a career in public accounting.  We are looking for highly motivated, team players who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to exhibiting effective problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
