Overview

A Wiss client in Hudson County (NJ) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Corporate Accounting environment.  Ideally, the candidate will have experience in Manufacturing, Distribution or Retail. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Assistant Controller on all aspects of the month-end close
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Develop monthly reporting
  • Track and record inventory
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Logistics departments on any ad hoc requests
  • Assist on special projects

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years in a Corporate Accounting setting - Straight public accounting is fine too!
  • Manufacturing/Distribution/Retail/Consumer Packaged Goods industry HIGHLY preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Experience with a large ERP system (Oracle, SAP, SAGE, etc)
  • Proficiency in Excel (Vlook ups, Pivot Tables, etc).

Salary Rage - $60-$65K + small bonus
