Overview

A Wiss client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an  Account/Business Development Representative to join their growing team.  The ideal person should come out of a manufacturing environment (automobile is a big plus) and demonstrate a strong track record of developing new business prospects.  This position requires travel to NJ and NYC. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of the company business strategy.

  • Create and implement account specific business development plans.
  • Existing account maintenance and growth.
  • Prospecting for new business within dedicated sales region.
  • Increasing market intelligence (industry, competitors and customer knowledge).
  • Improve understanding of market / customer needs.
  • Generating new leads and closing new business opportunities.
  • Supporting new product initiation: technical sales, testing for new customers and closing new business opportunity.
  • Attending and working Industry tradeshows and conferences as needed.
  • Administrative duties include: call reports, monthly updates, reporting any key market intelligence data collected, documentation of leads, and new customer information.
  • Willingness to travel between NJ and NYC
