We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our goverment group. As an experienced professional, you will have the opportunity to play a lead role on our client engagement teams, including training and helping to lead our staff members. Here is a “snapshot” of your role:

Understand and apply current knowledge of accounting into practice, such as preparing financial statements with various govermental clients. Understand accounting procedures and client engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards. Maintain daily client and staff interaction in order to gather information and resolve problems effectively and to the best of your ability. Help to prepare documentation with regard to work completed that can be understood by your clients.


What skills are important in this role:

  • BS/MS in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience working with school boards and municipal clients
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Public Accounting experience is required
  • CPA and RMA certification is a plus
